History
UCL Technologies Inc. began life in 1994 as UniVision Canada Ltd., a research and development company with the goal of developing a reliable PC based surveillance solution. At the time VHS systems dominated the market but, because of the limitations of analog systems and the increasing popularity of desktop PCs, it was obvious that digital surveillance systems were the way of the future.
